This psalm of David is filled with "self-talk" to remind him (and us) that he (and we) do not need to fear or dread because the Lord is his (our) salvation and defense (verse 1). It is interesting that in the first half of this psalm, David shows great faith, but in the last half his faith seems shaky. What's the answer for David (and us)? Verse 14
