250 years ago, 56 delegates from 13 colonies signed what is arguably the most consequential document in U.S. history: The Declaration of Independence. However, while declaring independence from a foreign power, was it not also a declaration of dependence upon one another to achieve so-called independence? I think the church has much to learn from this truth and Proverbs 3 is a worthy "document" to guide us.
