The Ministry

I am completely convinced that people are eternally lost without Jesus Christ and that faith in HIM alone is the answer to every human need and question. With this conviction, my family and I are actively engaged in evangelism, church planting and disciple-making in remote regions of Kenya and Tanzania. I have had the joy of discipling believers in some of the remote areas where I have planted churched, and my desire is to plant more churches and make more disciples. Kenya and Tanzania are often marginalized both socially and religiously, which highlights the need for outreach in neighboring villages to foster unity. To facilitate this I personally visit all the local churches I have planted and attend their worship services on a regular basis. In all respects, ministry must be personal and relational.

The Vision

The Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ is a long way from being fulfilled in Kenya and Tanzania. The percentage of Christians in East Africa is only about 20% of the entire population. This low statistic weighs heavy on my heart, especially because most people in the villages have not yet heard the gospel, and many do not have a local church to attend. Additionally, many churches do not have a disciple-making ministry and most attenders are not active participants in  God’s mission. Consequently, disciple multiplication and leader development is minimal at best. In response to this great need, my vision is to see a movement of disciple-makers raised up in every church across Kenya and Tanzania. The goal is to reach at least 600 villages through evangelism and Step-by-Step Training.

The Impact

The Step-by-Step Discipleship Process that I completed in 2024 has deeply impacted my life. Since then, I have been faithfully giving what I received in one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions. Jesus is quoted as saying that it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), and I’ve found that to be true. I am committed to giving away what has been given to me by discipling believers and equipping them to do likewise.

My mission and passion is to see Disciples of Christ become Disciplers for Christ, thus creating a multiplying movement. The journey so far has been meaningful, and I look forward with great expectation to seeing the emergence of third and fourth generation Disciplers living transformed lives and multiplying this ministry for lasting kingdom impact.
