The Ministry
Through Spring Life Ministries, we organize network prayers, leadership conferences, and workshops for believers to grow in the 5 Spiritual Disciplines presented by Disciplers International. We minister and care for vulnerable children, women, and communities through acts of compassion (Matthew 22: 37-40). Some of our training must be online to connect to individuals who live far away but desire Step-by-Step Discipleship Training. We also incorporate portions of the Jesus film that focus on evangelism and discipleship as a means to reach a wider audience, including those who are illiterate and children unable to read. This method enables them to hear the Bible and experience its message visually. We Integrate the Step-by-Step Process in our newly established nursery school and children’s program curriculum (Spring Life Nursery School and Community Bible Club) to ensure that every child who goes through our school and programs is exposed to the Step-by-Step Process.
The Vision
Our vision is for children to live with hope and dignity, enjoying good health and being productive as they walk with the Lord. We inspire and empower them to reach their God-given potential, helping them to know, obey, and love the Lord. Our mandate is to train up children in the way they should go, so when they are old they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22: 6). Discipling them is a means to that end.
With a heart for children, Julius started a community Bible Club where children gather to be discipled. Julius and Angela were inspired to start a nursery school in order to nurture the hearts, minds, and souls of all children who attend. Their ultimate vision is to see believers in Christ become Disciplers for Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 2:2).
The Impact
Through the training provided by Disciplers International, Julius is fulfilling his calling, and his disciple-making ministry is transforming the lives of many people. They are experiencing spiritual intimacy with God and each other, learning how to study and apply the Scripture to their lives, and growing in the spiritual disciplines. While taking an imaginary journey, which is part of the Step-by-Step Process, many trainees have experienced the presence of God more than ever before. This method has impacted lives deeply and enabled trainees to focus more intently on God and worship Him in spirit and truth.
Julius is committed to the Step-by-Step Process because of its impact in reaching children, youth, adults, schools, church leaders and church members. With support from DI, Julius translated the Step-by-Step training materials into the local languages of Luganda and Samia Lugwe. This has greatly helped him and Disciplers he has trained to reach Ugandans who are unable to express themselves in English.
