Our Partner in Nigeria - Chioma
The Ministry
Chioma is committed to evangelism and transforming lives. She accomplishes this by discipling women who in turn disciple others (2 Timothy 2:2). The Step-by-Step Process enables Disciples to impact their neighborhoods and communities around the globe. Chioma provides online training to women, meeting with them one-on-one to take them through the Step-by-Step Process. She does so in obedience to Jesus Christ and His Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
Once a month Chioma visits local orphanages and hospitals. Her goal at the orphanages is to disciple children and staff while providing food items to the vulnerable ones. The smiles on children’s faces when they are spiritually and physically fed, brings Chioma great joy.
The Vision
Chioma’s vision is to reach out to lost souls (Matthew 28:19-20) and to train Disciplers of Christ to become Disciplers for Christ (2 Timothy 2:2). She has a heart for orphans and vulnerable people in the hospitals. Caring for them brings the light of Christ into dark and difficult situations. Disciplers International (DI) resources provide Chioma with the tools necessary to impact others spiritually. Her gratitude to Almighty God and DI for this provision overflows in her sharing what she has learned with the vulnerable in the orphanages and hospitals. Through the help of DI many souls have been won to Christ. The children witness the character of Jesus at the orphanages through the love and support they receive.
The Impact
Women in Nigeria and Kenya are now being trained in the Step-by-Step Process. These women are then passing on what they have learned to their families and communities. Vulnerable children at orphanages and sick people in the hospital are receiving relief materials such as detergent, toiletries, and bottled water, as well as Bibles to develop their well-being wholistically - care for body, soul, and spirit. Our intent is wholistic ministry that cares for both body and soul. Disciplers International provides additional resources which enable the purchase of food items sent to the vulnerable. The huge impact in the lives of needy women and children is an example to them of how Christ cared for the less privileged when He was on earth. Chioma gives praise to Abba Father and thanks Disciplers International for the blessing they provide to the vulnerable and to those seeking spiritual growth.
