Becoming a Generation of Disciplers - GHANA
Samuel Ayitey - Husband, Father of 5, Accounting and Banking Professional, Ordained Minister, Discipler for Christ
Across the vibrant landscapes of Ghana, God is raising up a new generation of disciples who are heeding His call to “Follow me…” (Matthew 4:19) and His commission to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). God’s Spirit is stirring a quiet revolution of power and love in the heart of His people. Among humble communities, disciples are living out the Great Commandment and Great Commission of Jesus with the purpose of making disciples who make disciples (2 Timothy 2:2). Our discipleship teams go where the need is greatest - from the bustling city of Accra to remote villages in Ghana. Through mentorship and community outreach, we are witnessing a quiet awakening: families reconciled, faith revived, and communities strengthened by the Gospel.
Every movement of God begins with one obedient heart; one servant who says, “Here am I, Lord, send me.” We have seen this truth unfold over and over again in communities where many have never experienced the love of Christ. A single disciple, filled with the Holy Spirit, becomes the seed of a new fellowship. Here are some examples…
God seeks faithful ones - Linda Boglo
My journey as a disciple of Jesus did not begin in a big fellowship meeting, but in the middle of an ordinary workday. I was immersed in my routine trading business, but unaware that God was quietly orchestrating an encounter that would forever alter my life’s course.
Although I was church member, there was an emptiness in my spirit, and despite my outward commitment, I wrestled with unanswered questions and internal struggles - areas of my life that had not yet experienced true transformation. I longed for guidance that would help me mature in Christ and learn how to live out my faith daily.

It was during this moment of my life, that Pastor Samuel Ayitey came to my shop with the Gospel. At first, I did not let him to speak to me about Jesus because I thought he was a false teacher. Yet he persisted with patience and consistency. One day, the Holy Spirit gently spoke to me and asked, “Linda, why are you refusing to listen to Samuel?” Those words pierced my heart and I finally surrendered to God’s message. That moment marked a turning point in my life. Through the intentional Step-by-Step Discipleship Training I received, my relationship with the Lord deepened and I began to experience intimate fellowship with Him daily.

I was very successful by the world’s standards until the collapse of my businesses left me broken, ashamed, confused, devastated, directionless, and desperately searching for answers. Though I had a knowledge about Jesus, I was not a follower.
In the midst of my frustration a sister invited me to a fellowship. I reluctantly attended out of curiosity, not knowing that it would change my life forever. There, I met Pastor Samuel Ayitey. He taught about discipleship and although I never heard of that before, it seemed as if God Himself was speaking directly to my situation. His words touched my brokenness, revealing Christ to me in a new and very personal way. That day, I became a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Under Samuel’s guidance, I received intentional discipleship and spiritual instruction that transformed my life. Through his mentorship, I began to grow spiritually, deepen my understanding of God’s Word, and develop a Christlike character that continues to guide every area of life. God used my lowest moment to draw me closer to Himself and to shape me into a true disciple of Christ.

I am now a discipler teaching others to follow Christ, to pray, to live and become like Jesus, standing firm in Him. As you read my story, if you feel broken, discouraged, or lost, I want you to know this: God is not finished with you. He saved me from despair and He can save you. It does not matter who you are, what you have done or what you have lost, if you come to Him with open heart, Jesus will meet you right where you are.
Call to Deeper Faith: Samuel (left) with Pastor Tetteh and his wife, Comfort.
Pastor Samuel Tetteh and Comfort have been serving God for many years. Their recent decision to embrace discipleship is a powerful act of humility and obedience to Christ.
It reminds us that following Jesus is a lifelong journey - one that requires a teachable heart, regardless of status or position. Their step of faith points us back to the essentials of the gospel: surrender, transformation, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus. It’s an invitation for all of us to move beyond comfort and encounter Christ more deeply, allowing Him to shape our lives, and inspire many to answer Christ’s call: to “Follow Me.”

Discipleship for Pastor Nougblega is evangelism in action - sharing Christ, teaching obedience to His Word, and raising believers who carry the message of salvation into their communities. Through prayer, Scripture, and example, he equips men and women to boldly and faithfully spread the gospel, until lives, cities, and nations are changed.

Discipleship is not an event but it a lifelong journey. The harvest is ready but the workers are few. Together we can harvest the fields. Our mission invites you to walk with us in prayer and purpose. Together we can see the nations reached - one heart at a time. “And the things that you have heard from me… commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2)
A Prayer for the Nations
Lord Jesus, teach us to walk in obedience to Your Great Commission. Ignite our hearts with compassion for the lost. Use our hands and feet, our prayers, and our resources to make Your name known from Ghana to the ends of the earth. And let the Nations be discipled according to Your Word. In Jesus Name. Amen.
